On Thursday 26 February 2026, we’ll be hosting an evening talk at the Village Hall which should be of interest to anyone with a bike – particularly if you’ve recently come to live in beautiful Crawley!

With spring approaching, now is the time to dust off the bike and start preparing for glorious year of cycling in what must be one the best places in the country for getting out and about on a bike.

There’ll be three of us presenting on our favourite rides starting and finishing in Crawley:

1. Bart Huby will be talking about his favourite routes on a road bike – covering distances of around 30 miles with a coffee/cake stop
2. Chris Phillips will be covering shorter road routes, typically involving a break for a drink in a pub!
3. And Andy Thompson will talk about his favourite mountain bike off-road and trail routes – for those with a more adventurous streak!
4. And we’d love to hear from everyone about your favourite routes.
