Defibrillator training – 2nd and 3rd April 2016
Following a village fundraising project spearheaded by Tom Willsher, a defibrillator has been installed on the outside of the Village Hall forming a very valuable addition to the village’s community facilities. This is a large green box with a light, clearly marked ‘defibrillator’. It is registered with the ambulance service who have the location and door code so that they can advise on access and use if you call them at a time of need.
The resuscitation officer from South Central Ambulance Service, Stephen Cartwright, has kindly agreed to run two training courses, open to anyone in our community. He will not charge a fee, but donations of wine are acceptable. The courses will run in the Village Hall on:
Saturday 2nd April at 10.30am and
Sunday 3rd April at 10.30am.
Anyone interested in attending should contact Tom Willsher at firstname.lastname@example.org.
